Boyd Harrison Bio

I retired from the Regina Police Service in July 2009 after 30 years of policing. I then worked for the Wascana Centre Authority as a special constable and in August 2010, I began working for the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (transitioned to Sask Health Authority).

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July 2019 and received a radical prostatectomy in November 2019. During my journey, I came in contact with Prostate Cancer Support Regina. I found this group to be very beneficial and supportive. I made the decision to remain with our support group and share my experience and with other men and their family as they traverse their own journey.
