James Froh is a retired public servant, graduate student and Métis Nation citizen. For 40 years he worked in church, community and government organizations bridging Indigenous and non-Indigenous worlds. He is a life-long learner and builder of equity, inclusion, diversity and reconciliation.
After a cancer diagnosis in 2011, Prostate Cancer Support Regina members informed his decision to defer treatment using active surveillance. James has been prostate and cancer free following radical prostatectomy surgery in 2015. Raised at Fort San, a former sanatorium for the treatment of tuberculosis in the Qu’Appelle Valley, James and Cyndy Doxtator have called Regina home for more than twenty years with their adult son and teenage daughter.
